New Patients


Before your New Patient Appointment, Dr. Kim provides a free consultation to determine if treatment will work for you.   Then Natural Healing Center will get your scheduled for your first New Patient Appointment. Since this is your first consultation with Dr. Kim, you will discuss your history and the current issue.   Finally, the Doctor will discuss all symptoms that might be related to your back pain, neck pain, headaches, injuries sustained from a car accident, sport injury, or work injury.   As a result of this consultation, Dr. Kim offers hope to patients who suffer with chronic pain and offers an effective treatment plan that provides relief for back pain, neck pain, headaches, injuries sustained from a car accident, sports, work such as wrist or Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. Finally, if time allows in the schedule, your New Patient Appointment can be scheduled that same day. 


Initially, your first appointment will be one hour.  Also please arrive a few minutes early  for your New Patient Appointment as you will complete a Health Questionnaire.  Also bring completed Patient Intake and Financial Policy Forms. Additional appointments are follow-up visits which will be 30-45 minutes. Finally, if you have a Pro-Adjuster appointment, your appointment may be 5-10 minutes.


Your initial intake consultation will be similar to any other medical intake, Dr. Kim will review the Health Questionnaire you completed and your health history.


Dr. Kim will complete a routine physical exam, including focus on symptom areas.

Treatment Types

  • Chiropractic care is a combination of adjustments, therapeutic manipulation and the use of the Pro Adjuster.
  • Acupuncture is a gentle and safe technique. Fine, sterile needles are inserted at specific acupoints on the body to improve the body's functions and promotes the natural self-healing process.
  • Massage Therapy is used to facilitate the healing process especially in relieving chronic pain, and pain sustained from car accident injuries.

 What to Expect at your new patient appointment:

  1. Discuss the duration, frequency of symptoms, areas of pain  and nature of injuries.
  2. Talk about family history, dietary habits, past history of treatments, occupation, etc.
  3. Receive a Chiropractic Physical Exam to assess your range of motion, muscle tone, muscle strength, and posture.
  4. Discuss findings, diagnosis and treatment plan to provide quick pain relief and long-term recovery results.
  5. Address your questions and concerns.
  6. Receive your First Treatment.

What to bring to your first appointment:

    • Other Insurance Intake Form
    • Self Pay Intake Form
  • Your Driver's License
  • Completed Insurance Form (see below)
  • Insurance Card, and please make sure you have contacted insurance company to verify benefits and coverage
  • and finally please arrive 15 minutes early to check in and complete a New Patient Health Questionnaire before you see the Doctor
